The Mental Path

Mentally, we keep ourselves strictly bound by our own belief systems. We imprison ourselves by what we believe to be true -- real -- possible.

This dreaming work allows us to bypass our belief systems and move into all kinds of magical and glorious exposure to the Universal Truth. However, a dreaming vocabulary is an imperative to understand the worlds in which we travel.

The First Mental Task

Phase one of the mental path is the charting. By charting our dreams we actually train the mind to think in cycles and patterns. In school we learned to think linearly and in syllogisms. Deductive and inductive reasoning are highly honored in the ordinary realities of our world. The dreamer must also include thinking in circles. I urge you to get a copy of The Woman's Book of Dreams. It teaches you to chart.

This work moves one out of the mundanity of the polarized world of form and into the Universal River of thought. The river of universal thought is a wheel, a cycle, a spiral, a Milky Way. The dreamer's mind must learn to track energetic spirals. Charting the dreams and reading their patterns will change the way your mind works. Charting keeps your mind occupied so that the great mind of the universe can flow into your mental system without being restricted by belief systems that are too little to hold the dynamic information.

The Second Mental Task

A second aspect of the mental path of dreaming involves training the mind to eliminate judgment. Of course, discrimination and decision making must remain in tact, but holding opinions and judgments of people's actions and words serves only to throw the mind of the dreamer into an ordinariness that doesn't really serve anyone.

Have you ever had a dream in which the actions were highly bizarre, yet they seemed perfectly normal at the time? Those are examples of how you can operate from the non-judgment of a master dreamer's mental body. When your consciousness is in highest dream states, there is no right or wrong -- there is only Isness. Dreaming is not about doing, it's about being. The dreaming mind tells you who you are, not what you should be doing. Unless you are able to travel back and forth between dreaming mind and socially programmed mind, you may complete your entire life without ever remembering Who You Are.

Practice allowing one part of your consciousness to see every action, every circumstance, every event from the non-judgmental point of view of the dream mind. Soon you will be living with a mind that can experience the deeper meaning of every action, circumstance, and event. Then, when those Sacred Dreams come, you'll be able to read the message because you'll be available to the vocabulary of Universal Mind. When the prophetic dreams speak, you'll be able to prepare and affect the outcome beneficially. First you must discipline your mind so that the language develops.
