Symbology: The seven turn labyrinth is to the dreamer. Each of the seven nights of the week, we enter into a new and wholely unique relationship with the dream. I start each morning by walking the seven turn labyrinth in my yard as a tool for shifting from dreaming body to waking body. Just as thirteen is magical number for the yearly dreaming cycle, seven is the magical number for our weekly dreaming cycle.

This labyrinth can also be seen as a fourteen turn, if you count moving to the center and moving away from the center back to the start. In that way, it truly corresponds to the lunar cycles. Start at the new moon, take seven days to get to the center, then another seven to return to the "world" and you're at the full moon. Two such journeys through the labyrinth brings you from new moon to new moon, one full lunar cycle. Twenty six such journeys (two time thirteen) takes you through the full year's dreaming.
