Find out the primary principle (garment thread) of your life! The code to your spiritual garment is in your astrological birth chart. However, it is not the traditional “signs and houses” that are most important in our system, but the numerology of the degrees. At the time of your birth, each astrological placement (Sun, Moon, the planets, Ascendant, Midheaven) occupied a certain position within the sign, ranging from 0o to 29o. The degree gives you the key to a corresponding spiritual principle. So the first thing you need to do is get an accurate astrological chart, based on the correct birth time. (For this purpose, do not use a Vedic chart.) If you do not already have one, you can get it free at janspiller.com. The chart will show the degrees and minutes of each planet plus ascendant (also called “rising”) and midheaven (topmost point). It may show additional information too, but you can ignore everything but the twelve main planets and positions for now. Often the astrologer will list the planetary positions for you in English so you don’t have to learn the squiggly astrological symbols. For each position, you will see something like this: Sun 29 o 12’ Scorpio 3rd house This means that the Sun was at 29 degrees Scorpio.  Download and print out the Invisible Garment Pattern  chart  and  fill it in.  For example in this example the person would write the number 29 in the column next to Sun. Or it might be that you would see something like this: Moon 12 o 57’ Leo 10th house Notice that the number of minutes is nearly 60. There are 60 minutes in each degree, so this means that the Moon was quite close to being 13 o Leo instead of 12. Our practice is, when the minutes are 55-59 o, we round up to the next degree. For our purposes all you need to know is the planet and the degree. After you’ve put all the degree numbers in your chart, you will correlate each number with the spiritual principle, which you can get from the chart posted on this site. Now you’re ready to study your principle in The Invisible Garment!
